A vote in the state Assembly Public Safety Committee to approve Assembly Bill 390, a bill by Assemblyman Tom Ammiano, D-San Francisco, that would have legalized adult recreational use of marijuana in California, passed 4-3 with the support of local Assemblyman Jared Huffman, D-San Rafael.
